The root chakra is the first of the seven energy centres of the body. It holds concepts of grounding, safety and security, and is the chakra that ties us to our roots, ancestry and mother earth. Most of out deep rooted patterns are found within this energy centre forming between conception and age 7. This sets the stage for how we view the world, ourselves, and our interaction with others.
